WikiTargeted searching

Poké Lures

Place a personal lure, begin a timed search cycle, and return to discover the Pokémon result it found.

What it is

Poké Lures turn targeted hunting into a world feature rather than an instant command. Each placed lure has a stored state, owner, location, active cycle, and result.

Placed in the world

Your lure remains at its registered coordinates while it is idle, active, or holding a result.

Timed cycle

A search takes time and resolves to a stored Pokémon result according to the active configuration.

Recoverable

You can list registered lures and retrieve one remotely, clearing any unfinished or unclaimed cycle.

How it works

The player flow

  1. 01

    Place and configure

Set down a Poké Lure and use its interface to prepare a search.

  2. 02

    Wait for the cycle

The lure tracks its own completion time even when you travel elsewhere.

  3. 03

    Collect the result

Return when the lure reports a result ready, or retrieve the lure if you no longer need it there.
